The Phenomenon of Globalisation has caused the growing interdependence of the world’s economy, culture, and population, brought about by cross-border trade in goods and services, technology, and flows of investment, people and information. The African economy needs to integrate into world markets if they wish to succeed and raise up with the pace of globalisation.

African economic development in this global context is dependent on assistance in the mobilisation of international support measures to promote economic development and address the development challenges through partnership, technology transfer, capacity development and advisory services at the international level.
